• We do not use cookies or any persistent storage that leaves your device
• We do not share data with third parties because there is no data to share
• We do not display advertisements
• We do not include in-app purchases

The app runs entirely on your device and works completely offline.

Children’s Privacy

The Lantern Keeper is designed for children ages 8 and up. Because the app collects no information of any kind, it is fully compliant with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Apple’s guidelines for kids’ apps.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the app work offline? Yes. Everything runs on your device — no internet connection is needed at any time.

Are the puzzles randomized? Yes. Each playthrough randomly selects a subset of puzzles from a larger pool, so no two playthroughs are exactly the same.

Is the app suitable for very young children? The app is designed for ages 8 and up. Younger children may need help reading some of the longer lessons.

Will there be more rooms or puzzles? We hope to add more content in future updates based on user feedback.
